About Me
Hi. My name is David Whitford (Wingpilot66) and I am an avid Motorcyclist. I’m an native Texas. I currently live in Ennis, Texas.
I am not a “biker”. I am a RIDER. I enjoy long distance riding and cruising. I own a 2006 GL-1800 Honda Gold Wing. I am a MSF Rider Coach® and Riders Edge Instructor. I thoroughly enjoy instructing and teaching. I am also our Chapter Educator for my Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) Chapter “B” out of Garland, Texas. I’ve been riding on and off since I started riding back when I was 15 years old. I am currently 42 years old. I started riding professionally about 3 years ago. I try to ride everyday even if it is only for 15 minutes. Practice, Practice, and more Practice. The more you ride the better you will get. I’d say I’m a high mileage rider. Last year I put on over 27,000 miles. What can I say, I love to ride!
